Summary: The entry-level project manager is responsible for supporting and coordinating small IT projects or assisting senior PMs with larger initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, execution, and completion of IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Keep track of project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and meeting notes.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Contribute to project kickoff meetings and represent the project team in stakeholder discussions.
- Assist in the development of project charters, scope statements, and detailed work breakdown structures.
- Support senior project managers in the evaluation of project progress and performance metrics.
- Facilitate communication among team members, ensuring all participants are informed of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions based on project experiences.
Skills:
- A solid understanding of methodologies (like Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum) and risk management strategies is essential to structure and lead projects effectively.
- Familiarity with planning tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or Trello, alongside a basic understanding of IT infrastructure and software development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and presentations, along with negotiation skills to align stakeholder and team interests.
- Time management and resource allocation abilities to prioritize tasks and manage personnel and budgets effectively.

Qualifications:
